Valuable cashmere shawl from Vietnam

Warm, soft and very delicately woven! Cashmere is one of the most valuable and most expensive natural fibres. At first, the fibres are combed out of the under-fur of the cashmere goat. Then the fine hair is cleaned by hand.
It requires a lot of work and skills to produce a cashmere shawl out the fibres. This is why the company “Chez M’Lain” only cooperates with the best weavers and seamstresses in Vietnam to exclusively produce these valuable products on a limited scale. The ornamented border is also embroidered by hand, and the filigree style follows traditional Vietnamese patterns. The weaving is done in the villages because “Chez M’Lain” intends to maintain the handicraft at the places where it had been developed in the past and to make sure that the women can stay with their families.
