Handcrafted from soapstone by Kenyan artisans. Soapstone working is a traditional craft in Kenya. Our partner Undugu Fair Trade works with artists from all over Kenya. Undugu (Kiswahili for brotherhood and solidarity) set out over 35 years ago to break the vicious cycle of street children and later adults whose children also live on the streets. With training and a secure job, they are given a new perspective.
