Coffee capsules have many benefits: practical and easy preparation, aroma protection and consistent coffee quality in every cup. The big and irresponsible disadvantages: The production of the mostly aluminium-containing capsules is very energy- and CO2-intensive, and the used capsules create huge heaps of waste.
For reasons of sustainability and as an active contribution to the environmental protection of Ethiopia's severely depleted rainforest, a solution has been worked on and is now ready for the market: the first certified compostable coffee capsule for Nespresso® systems. It is aluminium-free and organic based.
The origin of all coffee lies in the last mountain rainforests of Ethiopia. There, the wild beans are carefully collected by hand by the farmers, dried in the sun and individually sorted. The traditional long-term roasting process makes Bonga Red Mountain one of the best coffees in the world.

LUNGO (Intensity 4): Café Creme (mild toasting) with a spicy base, light fruity notes and fine sweetness. This makes Lungo a real pleasure even in a larger cup.

ESPRESSO (Intensity 7): Full-bodied espresso with a spicy base, mild acidity and slight sweetness. For our " classic " we have selected special wild coffee woods, which let the fascination of the region of Kaffa develop also in the cup.

RISTRETTO (intensity 9): Very intense, concentrated espresso with a fruity, dark base and dark chocolate notes. The slow roasting gives the ristretto a wonderful intensity. For the lover of Italian espresso culture.
